A great poster depicting legendary Norwegian skier Stein Eriksen in his characteristic skiing style. Stein Eriksen emerged on the national scene in 1947, aged 19, when he won the downhill and combination at the Holmenkollen Kandahar event. He was Norwegian Champion six times in the period 1949-54 and Gold Medalist in slalom from the 1952 Oslo Olympics.
The poster promotes the Northland Skis Pro-Glas L-21 National by Northland A Division Of Larson Industries. It was sent to a Norhland Skis vendor in a tube post stamped March 4 1969.
