This is a very colorful Africa travel poster showing famed ancient ruins of Great Zimbabwe. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe during the country's Late Iron Age. Construction on the monument by ancestors of the Shona people began in the 11th century and continued until the 15th century.
The poster is designed by Wyndham Robinson who was born in London in 1883. He studied at the Lambeth Art School and the Chelsea School of Art.
