This a really great and rare poster for the Chicago World's Fair 1933 designed by Hernando G. Villa. Villa desiged advertising for the Santa Fe Railroad throughout his career. He was born in Los Angeles became a painter and taught at the Los Angeles School of Art.
The Santa Fe Railway was one of the larger railroads in the United States. Despite the name, its main line never served Santa Fe, New Mexico, as the terrain was too difficult; the town ultimately was reached by a branch line from Lamy. Its bus line extended passenger transportation to areas not accessible by rail, and ferryboats on the San Francisco Bay allowed travelers to complete their westward journeys to the Pacific Ocean.
The poster is in excellent condition ready to be framed.
