Mount Kilimanjaro with its three volcanic cones, "Kibo", "Mawenzi", and "Shira", is a dormant volcano in Tanzania. It is the highest mountain in Africa, and rises approximately 4,900 m (16,000 ft) from its base to 5,895 meters (19,341 ft) above sea level. Tanganyika was a territory administered by the United Kingdom from 1916 until 1961.
Kilimanjaro is a very sought after trekking / climbing destination.
The poster depicts Kilimanjaro with some small clouds and an African woman walking in the fields on her way to the village. If you fly by Kilimanjaro, you sometimes just see the majestic top peaking over the clouds.
This is a very rare find; you do not find this poster often. Mounted on linen ready to go on the wall.
