Stunning colors in this original vintage poster designed by Henkel to promote The Bavarian Zugspitze Railway.
The Bavarian Zugspitze Railway (Bayerische Zugspitzbahn) is one of four rack railways still working in Germany, along with the Wendelstein Railway, the Drachenfels Railway and the Stuttgart Rack Railway. The line runs from the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen to the Zugspitzplatt, approximately 300 metres below Zugspitze.
At 2,962 metres above sea level, the Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany and home to three glaciers and Germany’s highest ski resort.
In excellent condition.
