A lovely original vintage poster issued by the Directorate of advertising & visual publicity, Ministry of information & broadcasting, Government of India for the Ministry of transport to promote India as a travel destination.
The poster depicts a colorful rendering of The Taj Mahal, an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra.
In very good condition. Two large tears in upper part. Not very noticeable. Would look great framed. Mounted on linen. Marked "Not to be sold" at lower left :-)
