This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
This is a beautiful original vintage poster issued in 1938 by Det Forenede Dampskibs-Selskab (DFDS) to promote their ferry route from Denmark to Norway aboard the MS Kronprins Olav, which was delivered to DFDS in December 1937.
Designed by Helge Refn, the poster features a close-up gray and black rendering of a travel trunk adorned with a colorful DFDS luggage label, displaying the text: "D.F.D.S. Til Norge Direkte."
There is a large tear on the right margin that has been mended with paper tape, but the poster remains in otherwise very good condition, with vibrant colors. It would look stunning framed on the wall.
