This is a wonderful original South African travel poster depicting a Ndebele Girl in her custume. A loveley rendrering anda typical South Africa travel poster of the time. Bright and colorful.
The Southern African Ndebele are one of the Nguni tribes. The Nguni tribes represent nearly two thirds of South Africa's African population and can be divided into four distinct groups; the Central Nguni, the Southern Nguni, the Swazi people from Swaziland and adjacent areas and the Ndebele people of the Mpumalanga Gauteng and Limpopo.
The poster has some dirt stains upper left. Would look nice on the wall. Mounted on linen.
