A great original vintage travel poster promoting the city of Randers, featuring a rendering by Hans Henrik Hansen of the town's statue of the national hero Niels Ebbesen.
Niels Ebbesen (app. 1318-85) is known in history as the patriot who set Denmark free of German rule.
Randers, and Randers municipality, lies within the geographical region of Kronjylland (Crown Jutland), a name that possibly refers to the many royal possessions in this area, in particular in former times.
In great condition. The poster is mounted on thin Japanese paper. Almost invisible horizontally fold.
