A Scandinavian holiday?

SAS Scandinavian Airlines System was founded on 1 August 1946 as a result of a cooperation agreement between the three Scandinavian airlines Svensk Interkontinental Lufttrafik AB, Det Danske Luftfartselskab, and Det Norske Luftfartselskap.

This SAS poster, which is exceptionally rare, was released by SAS Scandinavian Airlines System and was printed in the UK with the apparent target audience being the UK market. The poster features a man holding his airline ticket against a blue and yellow background. The poster bears the printed text "Scandinavian Airlines System - A Scandinavian Holiday? Just The Ticket! SAS offers inclusive holiday air tours at significantly reduced rates. It is more affordable than you might expect."

This poster is an early UK-produced version and lacks the correct SAS typography. While in great condition, the poster exhibits some minor edge wear. We have only seen this poster once.
